5 out of 5 stars Haywire for Album of the Year   February 9, 2010

Josh Turner fans soon will discover that the wait for Turner's fourth album, "Haywire," is worth it. The album soars over everything Josh has ever done and offers a host of songs that are completely memorable and will have you singing along and tapping your toes in no time. From the slow-dancing "Why Don't We Just Dance" to the toe-tapping "Eye Candy," any one of the songs on Turner's newest album could be a No. 1 hit.

Make room for Josh Turner because he's going to be around for a very long while.

I bought three of these CDs to send to family members scattered around the country as a Valentine gift. I would have bought four, but Amazon wouldn't let me buy more than three of one album.

Get your dancing shoes ready. Josh Turner has got himself a very big hit.

HAYWIRE FOR ALBUM OF THE YEAR

Josh puts out another great CD with his latest title, Haywire. The CD has a nice mix of upbeat tunes as well as some soulful slow songs. I like every song on the album so It is hard to pick favorites. Josh Turner stays true to himself and to his fans with this music and I would definitely recommend adding this album to any country music collection. Also in response to the review that said his albums are starting to sound the same: If it is not broke don't fix it. It has been working for George Strait for years now and Josh Turner is just getting started.

For being a newcomer in the business he sings country music like we used to have.

5 out of 5 stars A bit of everything.   March 2, 2010

This latest album has a bit of everything and some of it very different in style for Turner, but for a non-country fan he sure has me hooked as that voice, his songs and his look simply make me happy.

5 out of 5 stars This has to be five star if you are a Countryfan   March 9, 2010
Great Believer (Los Angeles, CA)
I pre-ordered this CD and when it arrived, I liked it, abut now I love it. It is country all the way and there should be NO CAUTION because it is the fourth he has put out. I have the extended version with the extra tracks, but either way, it is great country music by a great country performer. Yes, it has variety for those who do not like every song to sound like the one before. No, Josh did not change style or doing any unusual, it is what you like from the artist you liked all his songs before. Yes, I love my Hank and George and Wille, but this is gonna be a classic as well. With all the new artists and good songs coming out from the likes of Chris Young and Eric Church and of course Zac Brown Band, country is here to be country and not going for all the cross over's. This CD will give you county, gold old boy style and still has all the talent to make last the test of time. I do not like to write a positive, negative or middle of the road review. I call it as I hear it. This one by Josh Turner is a winner and can's wait for the concert. I will tell you, it plays very well at the local bars with the local folks. He sings it and plays it like it is. I work hard for my dollar and this was worth the wait and money.
